This Lancet Oncology review examines ten years of publications about patient-centred eHealth in oncology, including how technology such as remote, digital PROMs solutions can be used to improve patient-level and system-level outcomes, and concludes that “technology platforms will become part of routine care”.
“eHealth has the potential to better the delivery of cancer care through improved patient-provider communication, enhanced symptom and toxicity assessment and management, and optimised patient engagement across the cancer care continuum.”
