MCO will initially be made available to support the care of patients receiving chemotherapy and who are undergoing MR linac therapy. MRL technology combines high resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning techniques with  powerful radiotherapy beams to treat tumours more accurately than conventional radiotherapy.
