Accessibility Statement for My Clinical Outcomes

This accessibility statement applies to the My Clinical Outcomes website for patient and healthcare professional users.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser functionality

  • zoom in up to 400 per cent without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

  • interact with most of the website using a screen reader

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Compliance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard. As an example of a non-compliance, there are form elements that do not have correct labelling in the patient registration and login process. There are also instances where additional content does not have a dismissible mechanism available.

Please see below on the actions we are taking to improve accessibility across the website.

 Feedback and contact information

We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of the site so welcome your feedback. Please contact us if you are aware of an accessibility issue or have suggestions to help us improve and make the site easier to use.

You can contact us by emailing info@myclinicaloutcomes.com and we aim to respond in five working days.

 Enforcement procedure

If you contact us with a complaint and you are not happy with our response, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 on legislation.gov.uk (the "accessibility regulations").

What we're doing to improve accessibility

At My Clinical Outcomes, creating an accessible service is the whole team’s responsibility. We want our teams to make accessible services by:

  • considering accessibility at the start of every project, and throughout

  • researching with disabled users

  • carrying out regular accessibility testing

  • designing and building to a minimum of WCAG 2.1 AA standards

We are working through our platform to improve accessibility to fully comply with the WCAG 2.1 AA standards. So far:

  • We have thoroughly reviewed and allocated developer resources to improve all patient interfaces and user journeys

  • We will allocate resources for accessibility work in new development and improvement projects

  • Once we have completed fixing the accessibility issues, we will ask a third party to complete an official accessibility audit

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This website's accessibility will be reviewed on a regular basis.
