MCO was founded in 2011 by doctors keen to create a useful and usable web-platform to help colleagues remotely monitor and manage their patients using digital Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). MCO has been in constant clinical use and development ever since and is currently live at over 200 UK NHS and private hospitals.

MCO is a dynamic company of passionate software developers, analysts, project managers and digital healthcare specialists. We have been involved in a number of leading innovation programmes such as the Digital Health London Accelerator programme, NHS Scotland’s Cancer Innovation Challenge and GE Healthcare’s ‘Edison Accelerator’ programme. We recently won the Royal College of Physician’s ‘Fix IT’ in Healthcare Prize alongside University Hospitals Sussex which rewards excellent innovation in digital healthcare, particularly digital initiatives that have, or promise to, improve patient safety and staff well-being within the NHS or healthcare more widely. About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientated individual who can support the client delivery side of our business, working with our Account Managers to deliver a great service for our clients. The role will be varied with a range of responsibilities so we’re looking for someone who is organised and happy to get stuck in. This is an exciting opportunity to have exposure to a growing, dynamic health care company and develop project and account management skills.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Account management support

  • Join regular client project meetings – take meeting notes and progress actions where appropriate

  • Support with the creation of meeting packs for project meetings and developing the agenda / discussion point

  • Review of client reports

2. Implementation support

  • Support client onboarding activities such as setting up of new users in the system and sharing patient / professional materials

  • Support with the creation / updating of patient & professional materials such as patient leaflets / posters and professional user guides

  • Track client engagement, including updating a site implementation tracker and following up with supplementary information

3. Clinical technical administration support

  • Investigate and resolve any client errors for example, adding new consultants to the system or updating treatment information

  • Be involved with user acceptance testing, ensuring new product developments are fit for purpose

  • Review data extracts to submit data on to relevant bodies

  • Help respond to queries through our technical help desk for patients and professionals  

The key skills we expect from any applicant are:

  • Organisation skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks

  • Proactive attitude and interest in problem solving

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Team player who is willing to get stuck in and provide support across the company

  • Ability to quickly get familiar with new systems and processes

  • Competent user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Interest in working in the healthcare industry and desire to develop project management skills

  • Experience in an administrative or project support role (preferably in healthcare or technology but not essential)

You will be entitled to 25 days’ paid holiday in each holiday year, which runs from 1 January to 31 December, excluding any days which are bank and public holidays in England and Wales.
